Cocktail Du Jour – The Artist’s Special
This recipe is inspired by Harry Craddock.
- 1.5 oz Irish whiskey
- 1.5 oz sherry
- 0.5 oz lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- 0.5 oz gooseberry syrup
Combine all ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake for 15 seconds and strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with red currants or an orange twist.
Mocktail Du Jour – The Artist’s Special Mocktail
- 1.5 oz Japanese Barley Tea
- 1.5 oz apple juice
- 0.5 oz lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- 0.5 oz gooseberry syrup
- 1 drop vanilla extract
Brew a cup of tea and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. Combine all ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake for 15 seconds and strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with red currants or an orange twist.
