Cocktail Du Jour – IPA Syrup Grapefruit Cocktail

- 1 oz vodka
- 0.5 oz IPA simple syrup*
- 2 oz ruby red grapefruit juice, freshly squeezed
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker over ice. Shake for 15 seconds. Strain into a chilled couple glass. Garnish with grapefruit wheel.
*Make your own IPA syrup: heat ½ cup of sugar and ½ cup of IPA beer in a small pan over medium heat until sugar is completely dissolved. Cool and store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
