On this day in 1967, the Truman Show, a ground-breaking 24/7 concept in reality TV, premiered to a world-wide audience. Truman Burbank was unaware that the entire town of Seahaven, all of his neighbors, his wife Meryl, and his best friend Louis were all paid actors.

Thousands of hidden cameras were planted around the living set to tell Truman’s story, to film his every move, and to promote sponsors’ products to over a billion regular viewers. After three decades of living in Seahaven, Truman suspects that something is off.

⦁ 0.3 oz agave syrup
⦁ 5 drops of ⦁ grapefru⦁ i⦁ t bitters
⦁ 5 drops of ⦁ Pey⦁ c⦁ haud’s bitters
Pour tequila and agave syrup into a rocks glass. Add bitters. Fill glass with ice and stir. Garnish with an orchid flower and some grapefruit zest.

Mocktail Du Jour – The Truman Show Mocktail
⦁ 2 oz ⦁ Ritual Zero Proof T⦁ e⦁ quila
⦁ 0.3 oz agave syrup
