Alfred Hitchcock’s iconic film ‘Rear Window’ was released in theaters on this day in 1954. Jimmy Stewart was the heroic peeping tom, stuck in a leg cast, spying on his NY City neighbors through a telephoto lens. He thinks he has witnessed a murder. Grace Kelly (only two years before becoming the Princess of Monaco), plays the confident and charming girlfriend, joining him in an amateur investigation of his neighbors.
This is one of Hitchcock’s best films and it has stood the test of time.

Early in the film Stewart’s character receives a bottle of Montrachet on ice. If you don’t want to spend the money on fancy wine, any White Burgandy is appropriate.
Use freshly squeezed citrus in your cocktails and mocktails when called for – It makes such a difference! Here’s a reliable and inexpensive juicer.
