National Lobster Day – September 25th

Lobsters were once so plentiful on the shores of Massachusetts that the local prisoners were let loose to catch them and cook their own meals…because who else would want to catch and eat waterbugs? Today they are one of the most expensive entrees on any fancy menu.
Lobsters are fantastical creatures. They keep growing, like goldfish freed from their bowl, and their limbs are regenerative. Their clamping claws exhibit up to 100 pounds psi of force. They taste with their legs and settle fights by urinating on challengers. What’s not to celebrate here?
